Photomusic Boutique Rooms was born first and foremost from the desire to create something of our own.
Our passion for travel and tourism inspired us to imagine a place that represented us and could tell, through its spaces and small details, our way of understanding hospitality. A project that would allow us to keep breathing that atmosphere we love so much when we travel.
Welcoming our guests, assisting them during their stay, sharing a small part of their journey, and seeing their satisfaction is one of the aspects we love most. Senigallia was a natural source of inspiration: a city where the sea coexists with a historic center rich in life, culture, and music. From here came the idea to create a contemporary structure, different from traditional solutions, where design, technology, comfort, and personality coexist.

From ruins to design: our role in the renovation
When we purchased the 19th-century building, it was no longer habitable. Despite this, we immediately saw its potential. This began a major renovation project involving the almost total demolition and reconstruction of the property.
Michele personally managed the entire project lifecycle as Project Manager, overseeing architecture and site management. The final design is also the result of continuous family discussion: Andreea worked alongside Michele, curating finishes, materials, and interior design.
Photomusic therefore carries a piece of us already in its architecture: we didn't just choose how to furnish it, but we imagined and built it around our idea of an exclusive stay in Senigallia
Photography and music: the origin of the name Photomusic
The name Photomusic encompasses two worlds deeply tied to Senigallia's identity: photography and music.
Photography finds expression here through Mario Giacomelli and a rich cultural tradition. Music accompanies the city year-round, culminating in the famous Summer Jamboree and numerous concerts.
Photography and music are two extraordinary languages: a photograph freezes a moment, a song brings us back to a specific memory. From this idea comes Photomusic: a place to experience Senigallia, listen to your music, and bring home lasting memories.

Colors and materials: a tribute to the Marche region
The choice of colors and materials also stems from the region. We favored soft, relaxing pastel tones: blue recalls the Adriatic Sea, while beige evokes the earth and inland villages.
Entrance Flooring: Timeless cement tiles linking the building's historic soul to contemporary interiors.
In the Rooms: Wood-effect stoneware adds warmth and creates an intimate atmosphere.
In the Bathrooms: Sand-textured wall tiles paying homage to Senigallia's famous Velvet Beach.
Alongside aesthetics, we integrated advanced antibacterial technology with silver ions. Every detail at Photomusic has a reason and a story to tell.
Challenges and reflections: a journey made with the heart
Like most significant projects, the path wasn't always linear. There were moments when we had to stop, rethink ideas, and ask ourselves if certain choices were worth the effort.
But these very challenges allowed us to define Photomusic's true identity. Often, the most debated choices give a structure its most authentic character.

Photomusic is, above all, a family project.
Behind every ready room are meticulous care, available bicycles, local restaurant tips, and a friendly chat. Even our children, Nicole and Lorenzo, live this project with enthusiasm, welcoming travelers from all over the world with us.
